Rationalization of Energy Consumption
Program Objective
Reduce energy utilization, and, get optimal utilization of the electric energy resources to preserve the environment

Program Objective
Rehabilitation and protection of the wildlife that is negatively impacted because of the urban developmental processes in the city.

Procedures of Program Execution
● Protect and provide the suitable environment to maintain the wildlife
● List the animal and botanical wildlife to make studies and detailed maps for their sites
● Regulate grazing and prevent cutting of trees in the wildlife areas
● Clean the wildlife areas which are damaged because of wastes
● Restoration of the vegetation and the afforestation in the damaged wildlife areas
Adjust the Random Activities in Riyadh and Control It
Program Objective
Set a work plan in place to remove the random activities, and to suggest alternative locations for the seasonal activities according to a regulated mechanism.

Procedures of Program Execution
● Removing the random activities in the empty areas and around the city which include camels and sheep’s enclosures, and the camps with its random entertainment activities that spread around it and its associated activities
● Increasing the monitoring and follow-ups to eliminate this phenomenon through a continuous work program, and support the committees responsible for monitoring, irregularities and subsidiary municipality by providing the possibilities that enable it to do its works accordingly
● Regulating some of the necessary seasonal and temporary activities like the seasonal camps, locations of construction equipment standing or the temporary sale and what follow these camps from associated activities
Control Littering in Public Places
Program Objective
Eliminating littering in the gardens, parks, streets, and open areas. Also, raise the environmental awareness to maintain the city environment.

● Monitor littering in gardens, streets, and open areas
● Apply a cleanliness fine program where a fine is applied for throwing litter from vehicles in to the roads
● Link the eye cleanliness program to include the public gardens and parks
● Raise the people’s awareness about the disadvantages of littering and the related fines
● Include littering as a traffic violation
● Increase the eye cleanliness program members
● Maintain the natural environment, with a partnership between governmental and special sectors, the volunteers, and the students
Monitoring the Quality of Surface Water and the Soil in Riyadh
Program Objective
Making the comprehensive and periodic monitoring of the underground water, and monitoring the effects of water rise and fall on the city.

● Monitoring the effect of raising the underground water level and how it affects the city growth

حماية وتطوير مناطق الحياة الفطرية
هدف البرنامج
إعادة وتأهيل حماية الحياة الفطرية المتضررة من عمليات التطوير الحضري التي شهدتها المدينة.

• تنظيم الرعي وحظر قطع الأشجار في مناطق الحياة الفطرية.
• تنظيف مناطق الحياة الفطرية المتضررة من المخلفات.
• إعادة الغطاء النباتي والتشجير في مناطق الحياة الفطرية المتضررة وإعادة الحياة الفطرية.
ضبط رمي النفايات في الأماكن العامة

الحد من رمي النفايات في الحدائق والمنتزهات والشوارع والمناطق المفتوحة ورفع الوعي البيئي للمحافظة على بيئة المدينة.

• مراقبة رمي النفايات في الحدائق والشوارع والمناطق المفتوحة.
• تفعيل برنامج عين النظافة المتعلقة بتطبيق غرامة رمي النفايات من المركبات في الطريق ومخالفته.
• ربط برنامج عين النظافة ليشمل الحدائق العامة والمتنزهات.
• رفع مستوى الوعي لدى العامة عن أضرار رمي النفايات والجزاءات المتعلقة بذلك.
• إدراج رمي النفايات من المركبات ضمن مخالفات المرور.
• زيادة أعداد أعضاء برنامج عين النظافة.
• تعزيز دور نظافة البيئة البرية والحفاظ على البيئة الطبيعية ومشاركة الجهات الحكومية والخاصة وطلاب المدارس والمتطوعين.
ضبط الأنشطة العشوائية في مدينة الرياض والتحكم بها
هدف البرنامج
وضع خطة عمل لإزالة الأنشطة العشوائية، واقتراح مواقع بديلة للأنشطة الموسمية تعمل وفق آلية منظمة.

إجراءات تنفيذ البرنامج
• إزالة الأنشطة العشوائية في أراضي الفضاء وحول المدينة، والتي تشمل أحواش الإبل والأغنام، والمخيمات والأنشطة الترفيهية العشوائية المنتشرة حولها، وكذلك الأنشطة المصاحبة لها.
• تكثيف المراقبة والمتابعة للقضاء على مثل تلك الظاهرة من خلال برنامج عمل مستمر، ودعم لجان المراقبة والتعديات والبلديات الفرعية بالإمكانيات التي تؤهلها للقيام بمهامها المطلوبة على الوجه المطلوب.
• تنظيم بعض الأنشطة الموسمية والمؤقتة الضرورية مثل المخيمات الموسمية ومواقع وقوف معدات البناء أو البيع المؤقت، وما يتبعها من أنشطة مصاحبة.
ترشيد استهلاك الطاقة
هدف البرنامج
خفض استهلاك الطاقة والاستخدام الأمثل لموارد الطاقة الكهربائية بغرض المحافظة على البيئة.

عمل المراقبة الشاملة والدورية للمياه الأرضية ومراقبة تأثيرات الارتفاع والانخفاض على المدينة

• دراسة تأثيرات ارتفاع المنسوب الصحية.
• معرفة أنماط ارتفاع المياه الأرضية وجودتها لعلم الموازنة اللازمة للمدينة ومعرفة المناطق المتوقع تضررها.
